It is testament to our broader more caring style that many clients have consulted with us since the 1980s and 1990s.
Susanna Stuart and Deborah Carlyon formed the practice when PricewaterhouseCoopers sold its financial planning division to a corporate buyer in 2004. Back then we saw a business model that was less about selling products and more about providing truly independent advice.
Susanna and Deborah are CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFPCM) professionals and pictured a service that recognises that finance is a multi-faceted topic that requires a holistic approach. Our team are chosen for their experience in financial matters gathered from working in fields related to taxation, accounting, stockbroking, the money market, banking, and trustee services.

What unites us is our shared set of values. Each of our advisers decided at some point in their respective careers to adopt a customer-driven approach to make a long-term difference to the clients’ wellbeing. The team at Stuart Carlyon all believe in putting the client first.
Our growth has been through referrals not only from satisfied clients but from other professionals including lawyers and accountants who stake their reputation every time they make a referral. From small beginnings, we now manage more than $400 million that clients have entrusted us with.
In April 2018 Stuart Carlyon welcomed Mark Patton (CFPCM) as an owner and adviser; ensuring that our philosophy and approach will carry on into the future.
